Our AY and AQY series HIGH GAIN aviation band array systems are highly suitable as base station antennas for VHF UHF ATC sites where extended communication range is required to cover the particular sector of Flight Information Region (FIR) like narrow but long strip with wider elevation beam-width or Oceanic Information Region (OIC) of a bay/gulf with wider azimuth beam-width to control the inbound and outbound Oceanic traffic.

The SD series VHF/UHF aviation or aero band antennas are manufactured using high-grade anodized aluminum alloy. The AC series aviation band antennas are light weight, quick deployable and broad bandwidth antennas which are specially designed to avoid the use of multiple antennas and supplied with bird resistant cap.

Both SD and AC series VHF UHF ATC aviation band antennas features, wide bandwidth, high gain, high power handling capacity, low VSWR, low noise performance, high vertical bandwidth and null filling coverage with omni-directional characteristics. All VHF UHF ATC aviation band antennas supplied with marine grade stainless steel mounting hardware. Our LP-225-400 log periodic antenna is designed to provide constant 11dBi gain over the entire 225-400MHz UHF ATC Mil Air band. The AC series VHF UHF ATC aviation band antennas are consist of large diameter radiating elements stacked vertically and enclosed in ABS radome. The special “Choke and Spark Gap” technique is used for smooth VSWR and constant 3dBi. gain over the entire 225-400 MHz. frequency band. The UV resistant ABS enclosure has excellent transparency for RF signals and enough strength to withstand specified wind loads. The stainless steel mounting hardware and bird resistant cap is supplied with the antenna.

Our AC5 series of wide band VHF UHF ATC fiberglass collinear aero band antennas are high gain aviation band antennas, consisting of large diameter radiating elements stacked vertically and enclosed in fiber glass tube. The special “Choke and Spark Gap” technique is used for smooth VSWR and constant 5dBi. gain over the entire 117.975-137 MHz. frequency band (model AC5-127) for VHF air band and 225-400MHz for UHF air band (model # AC5-312). Our avaition band antenna operates with legacy radios for SINCGARS and EPLRS through new multiband radios such as the Side Hat radio. Multiple frequency inputs can be used simultaneously.
